31st conference of the European Colloid and Interface Society (3-8 Sep. 2017)

8/2/2017 -

Dear Colleague,

We are pleased to announce the forthcoming 31th Conference of the European Colloid and Interface Society that will be held in Madrid (Spain) from 3 to 8 September 2017. ECIS2017 will be the latest in a series of successful meetings organized every year, the most recent of which were held in Rome (2016), Bordeaux (2015), and Limassol (2014).
The ECIS 2017 will cover fundamental and applied advances in the fields of interfaces, dispersed systems, wetting, complex fluids, micro-and nano-engineered materials, upconversion nanoparticles, ion specific effects, self-assembly of surfactants, polymers and proteins, and advances in theory and instrumentation. Moreover a special session will be dedicated to Colloidal Science in Latin America
Elsevier gives the opportunity to publish the articles from the conference in a special issue of Colloids and Surfaces A: Physicochemical and Engineering Aspects after the usual refereeing procedure.
We are also happy to announce a pre-conference ECIS Training Course “Design of Colloidal Materials for Biomedical Applications” to be held the 1st and 2nd of September 2017.
Please note the deadline: April 30, 2017 for oral presentation submission
For further information and call for papers, please see the attached flyer and the conference webpage:
We hope you can join us in this exciting event and look forward to receiving your contribution to the program.
Sincerely,
The Organizing Committee ECIS2017
