1st Industrial Stakeholder Workshop of EURAMET EMPIR project MagNaStand

The EURAMET EMPIR project MagNaStand (project start 1 June 2017) will support the international standardisation of magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) and magnetic beads within the framework of the ISO organisation. MagNaStand concentrates European expertise and interests in standardisation magnetic nanoparticles. Out of the 11 partners of MagNaStand, 6 are also members of the RADIOMAG COST action. Consequently, also MagNaStand has the proper definition and measurement of loss parameters in magnetic hyperthermia among its goals. The workshop is intended for industrial stakeholders who are affected by the introduction of international standards for MNPs. We will discuss the opportunities and consequences of the standardisation and present ways for participation in the development of the standards.
